Clacton-on-Sea
Clacton-on-Sea has a lot to offer; Sandy beaches, Clacton Pier, two Theatres and an Arts Centre, a good selection of shops in the town centre all within easy walking distance of the Geisha Hotel.
Outside of Clacton-on-Sea you are within easy driving distance of Constable Country where the famous Hay Wain was painted, and historic Colchester town with the Castle Museum and Colchester Zoo.
Locally you can visit Naze Tower at Walton-on-the-Naze, this is a museum, art gallery and has tea rooms. Keen gardeners should definitely visit the Beth Chatto Gardens and nursery in Elmstead Market, and for nature lovers why not enjoy a walk though Holland Haven Country Park, just down the road in Holland-on-Sea. |
